These warranties provide repair and/or maintenance for a specific time mostly by Third Parties & NOT directly by the seller. The seller ties up in an agreement with a Third Party to service his products/listings and the cost of this service is included in the price of the product. Buyers need to determine.

- Whether the product is likely to need repairs and the potential costs of such repairs
- The duration of the service contract
- The reputation of the company offering the service contract
