Choosing a banner

Vinyl or fabric

Vinyl banners are printed on heavyweight vinyl, hemmed, and finished with grommets. They hold up to weather, which makes them the usual choice for fences, building fronts and anything outdoors for weeks at a time.

Sublimated banners are printed into polyester fabric. Colors are rich, the fabric doesn't glare under lights, and it can be folded for storage where vinyl is best rolled, so it's well suited to indoor events and backdrops.

Banners for a specific job

Senior banners are photo-quality vinyl banners for recognizing graduating athletes, usually hung portrait along a fence or in a gym. Street pole banners hang from light poles along a street or campus, printed on one side or both.

A step and repeat backdrop repeats your logo across a large banner for photos at events and press walls. Add the adjustable frame if you don't have a stand; it comes with a carry bag.

Picking a size

Think about how far away people will be. A 3' × 5' banner reads well across a room or a parking lot; for a fence line at a field or a building front, 4' × 8' and larger keeps text legible from a distance. Vinyl and fabric banners are priced by square foot, so each size on the product page shows its price. For a size we don't list, contact us.

Artwork that prints well

Use your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) where you can, so it stays sharp at any size. Photos should be the largest original you have; images pulled from a website or social media usually look soft once enlarged to banner size. Keep important text a few inches in from the edges, clear of the hem and grommets.

Artwork, proofs and turnaround

Choose Mockup Request on any product and describe what you want, and one of our designers builds it, or send a mockup request with your logos. Either way you get a proof to approve before anything is printed, and production starts once the proof is approved and the order is paid.

Most orders are produced in 5–10 business days; each product page lists its own production time. We print with a set of spot colors that reproduce the most vibrant results; see the color chart. Pantone matching is possible in most cases and may add a fee. There is no minimum order, and volume pricing is available by phone.

Common questions

Should I choose vinyl or fabric?

Vinyl is best for long-term outdoor use. Fabric gives richer color without glare, folds for storage, and suits indoor events and backdrops.

How are banners hung?

Vinyl banners are hemmed and finished with grommets, so they can be tied to a fence or wall with zip ties, bungees or rope.

Can I order a size that isn't listed?

Yes. Contact us with the size you need and we'll quote it.

What file should I send for my logo?

A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) is best. If you only have an image, send the largest original you have.
