Choosing a feather flag

Which shape

Concave, straight and convex flags have a curved top and differ in the outer edge; concave is the classic feather shape. Angled flags have a slanted top, tear drop flags a rounded, compact shape that reads well at eye level, and rectangle flags the most usable area for text and logos.

If your design is mostly words, a rectangle or straight flag gives them the most room. For a logo or a single bold word, any shape works; pick the one that suits your look.

Which size

Feather flags come in 9, 13 and 15 foot overall heights, pole included. A 9 ft flag suits storefronts and booths; 13 and 15 ft flags are seen from the road, across a parking lot or over a crowd.

Single or double sided

Single sided flags are printed once, so the back shows a mirror image of the front. Double sided flags read correctly from both sides, which matters when people pass on both sides, such as along a road or a walkway.

Hardware kits

Every kit includes the pole and a carry bag. Use a ground spike on grass or soil and a cross base on pavement or indoors; add a water bag to the cross base on windy days. Already have hardware? Choose the flag only.

Common questions

What's the difference between feather and teardrop flags?

Feather flags are tall and narrow with a curved or straight edge, giving the most height. Teardrop flags are rounded and more compact, and hold their shape in the wind.

Can I use a feather flag indoors?

Yes. Use a cross base indoors; ground spikes are for grass and soil.

Do you sell replacement flags?

Yes. Choose Flag only under hardware to get just the printed flag for a pole you already have.
