Custom tents are printed using dye-sublimation, a process that turns ink into gas with heat and bonds it directly into the fabric's fibers. The result is vivid, full-coverage, edge-to-edge color that won't crack, peel, or wash out. Here's how it works and how to get the sharpest possible result on your tent.
What is dye-sublimation printing?
In dye-sublimation, your artwork is first printed onto a transfer, then heat and pressure convert the dye into a gas that permeates the polyester fabric and solidifies inside it. Because the color becomes part of the material rather than sitting on top, the graphics are extremely durable and the fabric stays soft and breathable.
Why it's ideal for tents and fabric
Fabric products like tents, table covers, and flags need color that covers every inch and survives sun, wind, and repeated use. Dye-sublimation delivers exactly that: full edge-to-edge coverage, photo-quality detail, and fade resistance that surface printing can't match.
How color matching works
We offer an extensive range of custom “spot” colors that we recommend because they print the brightest and most consistent. If your brand requires an exact Pantone (PMS) match, we can accommodate it in most cases — additional fees may apply. Check our color chart and let your sales rep know if you need a specific match.
Setting up your artwork
For the crispest print, supply your logo as high-resolution or vector artwork. Don't have print-ready files? Our team helps clean up and lay out your design as part of the mockup process, so you'll see a proof before anything goes to production.
How to get started
There are no minimums, and you'll approve a proof before we print. The easiest first step is to request a free mockup — you'll see your dye-sublimated design on your product before you buy. Ready to build one? Start with a custom tent.
